Announcing Virtual Town Hall on Upcoming Oklahoma Legislation!

Posted By: Hayley Twyman Brack Legislation,

The Oklahoma legislative session is in full-swing with more than 2,000 bills introduced just this year. As lawmakers are converging at the State Capitol to review and vote on legislation, Oklahoma mental health professionals may be wondering how this year’s bills could affect their profession-and the overall state of mental health in Oklahoma.

Join the Oklahoma Counseling Institute, Healthy Minds Policy Initiative, the Oklahoma Association of Addiction Professionals, and others this Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for a virtual Town Hall on the 2024 Legislative Session. Representatives will discuss bills to watch this year, as well as how mental health professionals can stay informed and advocate for or against legislation.

This Town Hall is virtual and will take place over Zoom. Registration is free, but only open to members of the Oklahoma Counseling Institute. Click here to register for this event or click here to learn more about becoming a member.
