The internet has broadened communication and changed the way many mental health professionals market and provide their services. Advancements in the technology have also led to the development of AI applications, software, and programs that can be used in the counseling setting. While social media, mobile applications, and AI have provided new opportunities to connect with clients and provide services, using the technology can also increase clinicians' risk of ethical violations. Join Hayley Twyman Brack, MA, LPC, as she explores these concepts and more in this ethics training.

Objectives Include:
-An overview of terminology related to artificial intelligence, social media, and other technology.
-A discussion of common ethical dilemmas clinicians face when using social media and the internet to promote services and interact with clients.
-A review of ethical standards for marketing mental health services.
-An exploration of research on the application of artificial intelligence in the counseling setting
-A discussion of ethical considerations for utilizing artificial intelligence technology in mental healthcare
