Landmark Recovery Closes Oklahoma City Location
Behavioral Health Business reported on December 8, 2023 that two Landmark Recovery facilities recently closed due to eviction from their buildings.
Both the Oklahoma City and Las Vegas buildings are owned by Wellness Real Estate Partners, but were shuddered after the company filed legal action against Land Mark Recovery, citing unpaid rent.
Land Mark Recovery is based out of Franklin, Tennessee and owns several addiction treatment facilities throughout the United States. Its website lists locations in Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
According to Behavioral Health Business, Landmark had to unexpectedly close three of its Indiana facilities after allegations of mismanagement and three patient deaths in July 2023.
It was the loss of revenue of those sites which led to its inability to pay its lease at its Oklahoma location at 4825 NW 23rd St in Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma Counseling Institute reached out to Landmark Recovery. A representative told us that there are no plans to reopen the Oklahoma City location and that patients from that location have been moved to its facility in Morrilton, Arkansas to complete their treatment.
