ODMHSAS Announces New Red Rock Facility in Elk City
On December 8, 2023 The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services announced the grand opening of Red Rock Red Rock Behavioral Health’s Urgent Recovery Center in Elk City, Oklahoma.
According to the release by ODMHSAS “This facility will offer a comprehensive range of services, including counseling, therapy and support programs tailored to the diverse needs of individuals seeking recovery and healing.”
The release further explains the purpose of Urgent Recovery Centers is to act as an “emergency room” for those who are experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. The average stay is less than 24 hours. With the help of Red Rock staff members, patients may be referred to additional treatment if needed.
According to Red Rock’s webpage, the new Urgent Recovery Center is located at 3080 W. 3rd St, in Elk City.
This newest location is an addition to Red Rock’s established locations in El Reno, Chandler, Chickasha, Hobart, Kingfisher, Shawnee, Watonga, Weatherford, Yukon, Oklahoma City and Norman.
